Braden had a good Saturday. His oxygen level is down to 24% which means 76% of his breathing is from his own little lungs. His gases are stable and his color looks great today! Unfortunately, he has lost 1 ounce. So he's back to 1 pound 7 ounces. But hopefully he will get on that formula soon and will start gaining some weight.
Annie and Steve are still at mom and dad's house in Denton. Annie is feeling better. She is starting to eat regular foods and she is a little more mobile. She still has a little trouble with some things, but she's really trying. When Steve is not busy with his new job as a dad, he's busy with his new job at Cingular...so he has been driving all over the Metroplex! We are all so proud of Annie and Steve for showing such strength during all this.
I have received many wonderful e-mails from people all over the country - and some are from people I don't even know! So thank you to all those who have forwarded Braden's blog to other prayer groups. And thank you to all those who love Braden and are praying for him. Our little guy needs all the love and prayers he can get!
