Once again.......

Braden is 18 months today!!! Happy 18 months to my BIG BOY!!!!!
Happy Birthday to Braden's great grandfather in Hereford Texas!!!!!!!

School has started and the weather will hopefully change soon and fall will begin. Braden went to his lung doctor on Friday Aug. 25th and we got the news that Braden will have to have synagis again this fall/winter. He will have his first shot in Oct. and end sometime April or May. These shots will help to prevent RSV which we all know can be very bad for Braden. The Dr. feels that as well as Braden is doing one more round will keep him on the pace that he is now and not fall back any. So we will be doing the same stuff we did last winter. We will not be out as much with Braden, we will not take him to crowded place and NO SICK PEOPLE!! If you feel that you are sick please know that we will understand if you do not come over to visit. We have to do what is best for Braden. I was very upset to hear this news, I just cried over the fact that he was going to have to do that again. I know that he will not remember but I do and I think that he has been through so much what else can he go through. But my Braden is strong and he will get over this and we will move on and he will be fine. I on the other hand will smile and go on and then cry in the closet like every good Mom does, to show no fear.

We are very excited Braden's cousin Jonathan is playing soccer this year. He is on a team called the Rockets and there first game in sometime early September. So Braden will get to see at least a few games before RSV starts. Chris is helping the team get ready and hope that they have a great year.

The Miller Family in Frisco still needs prayers for Audrey. She was in the hospital last week and our hearts break for that family. Jenn please know that if you need anything call us. It takes special people to care for a special needs baby but it takes friends to take care of the parents. So call if you need us and we will be praying for you! Kedroski's Texas welcomes you back!!!

Landon Jax Crowley WELCOME !!! Landon is the grandson of my friend Jan Hill. He was born on Tuesday Aug. 22 8 pounds 4 ounces. Everyone is doing great and he is a doll. Lots of love to you!!!

Braden is talking up a storm some of his words are "WOW" "Uhh Ohh" "Wal-Mart" "Clara" "pamper" "Jo Jo" and "touchdown" now they are not that clear but you get the point of what he is saying. If you point to food or want him to eat if you say "MMMMM" he will say it too. I love to see him learn new things it just makes me smile every time.

We will post some pictures soon so check back!!!!

A year ago..............

A year ago today I took Braden to his first day of daycare. WOW a year!!!! He has grown so much from that first day and that comes from good care from Shirley and Gary. We are so blessed to have them watching over Braden everyday. Amber and Shannon Parks opened their home to Braden and it has been the best place for him to grow. John, Sam and Tristan have all become such a big part of our lives that seeing them everyday just makes my day!!!

Here is a picture of Braden on his first day of day care a year ago today

So much stuff.......

Braden has had his glasses for a while now and is doing pretty well with them. He will wear them about 3 to 4 hours and then when it is time to sleep they come off. We are very proud of him he is such a big boy. We went to the cardiology on Friday July 28th, and got great news. Dr. Clapp said that she "NEVER" wants to see Braden again. "never" I say as I look at her in a uncertain way and she looked right at me and said "Braden is doing amazing, I never want to see him again." I heard that all day in my head word for work and trying it now I am just smiling. To hear that we are slowly getting out of the woods makes us feel so good.

Braden weighed in at 22.5 pounds and 30 and half inches long at her office. She said that most babies born at 24 weeks that survive that she sees have serious problems and have to have very special care, and she was surprised to see how well Braden was. Of course while she is bragging on the boy, he is walking around the room with just a pamper on and yelling "blah blah blah!" It was very good to get a good report. Of course if any of Braden's Doctor's have any heart concerns we will go back and see her but for now we are checking her off the list of Doctor's to see every year. YEAH BRADEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That same day we took Braden to Baylor to see some of his nurses, they were so surprised to see him. One of his Doctor's from the NICU was there and could not believe that was Braden. They all came to see him walk and just stare at what once was a maybe and then turned out to be a YES he will make it. As we were getting ready to leave the Doctor looked at us and said "you all have done a great job with him" I quickly said "NO you all did it we just took over." I wanted to cry. We will forever be thankful to the whole staff at Baylor.

The next day we went to a parade where my sister and her family were in for the Family of Year for Denton County and had a great time. Grandma Shirley and Pawpaw Gary were in the parade as well and Braden was happy to see them too. We got some great pictures that we will post as soon as we can get them all together.

We are all doing great other then that. We are working and just making each day count. Steve and I are planning on getting out of the house for a date night on Saturday, Aunt Clara will stay to watch Braden. We hope we can make it out it has been a while since we have gotten dressed up and out of the house alone.

Just wanted to say to the Miller Family in Frisco we are thinking about you and Sweet baby Audrey you keep on fighting prove those doctor's wrong it will make your parents happy to hear them say WOW she looks great.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO GRANDMA LYNDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will be seeing her for dinner tonight.

Thanks for checking in on us. Pictures soon!!!!
