Big Boy Bed

Well we did it. We are out of the crib and in a big boy bed. Braden is not sure what to think of it just yet but he is adjusting. We will put him to bed but then he will wake up between 2-3 in the morning and want to come with us. I think that he is not sure of his new surroundings. But it brings so much more space to his room. His room is stuffed to max with toys, clothes, shoes and everything else so this new change adds a little more space. I am going to work on getting him some curtains( well my friend Kim is going to make them), and a table cover for his night stand. Then his room will look more like a little boy and not so much a baby.
Easter was a fun. It was kinda cold here but we had a good time. Once again we had lots of food and lots of FUN!!! The kids had a great time and I have to give credit to MoMo and PoPo for being the only adults outside when the kids were cracking eggs on eachother.

One more Year!!!

We took Braden for his annual CT-Scan yesterday at Children's in Dallas. Well we had to be there at 7:00 a.m. and they were going to have to sedate him. SOOOOO guess what we had a very upset 3 year old. He was not happy at all and that made his Dad very happy. I was trying to stay calm, one of us had to be! Well finally around 10:00 we got Braden sedated and in the scan room. The test took all of 3 minutes but the 4 hours before seemed like 24 hours. After that we had to return to the sedation room to let him wake up, he got a toy and we were out the door. We headed down stairs to the fine eating place at Children's and got him something to eat and drink.. Since he had nothing since the night before.

We had an appointment to his Dr. at noon but we got there early and we got to see him around 11:00. He was very happy with Braden said the Shunt looks great and Scan was perfect. He told us "see you next year" and Braden got another toy. So a bannana, juice, jello a race car, 2 bouncy balls and some other toy we were out of Children's with great news and tired baby!

How exciting it was to hear that again. Lets just hope for great news like that all the time.

I would like for everyone who reads this to please say a small little pray for my Grandpa in Hereford. He is not doing very well and we are praying for a speedy recovery.

Thanks
