Christmas

We hope that you all had a wonderful Holiday Season. The Bungers sure did!! We had Christmas Eve in Denton after Kim, Spencer and I helped pass out gifts to the new born babies at Parkland. Christmas morning we woke up at home just the 3 of us, and how much fun did we have. Braden woke up at 6:45 and the paper started flying. He got this Elmo chair from Grandbob and Gramy that he set in to open all his gifts. He was very much the king as Steve and I came to him with gifts. I think that it safe to say that Braden was very good this year and had the gifts to prove it. From bath toys, to clothes, to a guitar, to a full service work bench with tools, to books. He was a very happy little boy. Steve and I got so much pleasure seeing him open his gifts. We took down our Christmas decor after that was done and headed to Denton for lunch. WOW a feast mom put together. We were all very full and very tired. Steve, Braden and I headed to Sherman after that to spend some time with Mom, and sister her family. The boys played and had a good time. Braden was very tired and was not in the best of moods. So it was not a long stay.

Braden is staying with Connie this week so that he can spend time with Jackson and Jonathan. They are having the best time. Braden slept very good last night so whatever they are doing is working.
We wish you all the best in 2008!!!
Love to you all

Braden & Santa the first visit

Thanksgiving was great. We had the best time with everyone. Kate, Henry and Olivia were the smaller of the group and they all got along so great and Braden loved having playmate for the whole week. We had more time to talk with family this year, Aunt Candy and Aunt Taylor are so much fun to talk to I think I could spend the whole day with just them. Of course Gran is the highlight of the trip. She has us all over for dinner on Friday after Thanksgiving and to see her and Aunt Hope just watch us all gives me great joy. Phil got his guitar out and played for us and the kids put on some dance moves that would make anyone look bad. But the main and most important thing is Gramy and Grandbob they always make us feel right at home and with no worries. They know how to throw a great party and show us much love that makes it hard to come home.

We did miss our family in Texas. My mom made her wonderful turkey and dressing. The kids put on a show for them and there was much shopping going on by Aunt Connie and Aunt Clara. Dad i am sure went to bed in his chair with his tummy full of good food. While the boys all watch a good Cowboy game.

While we were in Memphis, Steve, Braden and I got away for a few hours to go to the mall. We were walking around and saw that Santa had no line. I looked at Steve and said "let's give it a shot". Well at first Braden was not sure what to think of him. He kinda looked at him with this puzzled look of why are you wearing PJ's. Then I said " Braden tell Santa what you want for Christmas" and on Que my child said "a tractor". I put Braden on Santa's lap and we got a one good scream and then Santa said the magic words "I HAVE CANDY" Braden smiled the lady took the picture and off we went. It does not get any better then that. Seeing how this was his first visit with Santa I think that we did pretty good.

Here is a picture of the visit we hope that you check back with us we are sure to have more photo's up soon.

Braden

We had such a great time last night. Braden and Steve went up and down the streets of our neighborhood and I stayed back to pass out candy. Here are some pictures of the night.

Some of you may know by now that Braden loves a group of girl singers called "The Pussycat Dolls" or as we call them "Hotgirls" . Well some people do not believe us so I took some pictures of my 2 year old watching them. Now Braden does not watch T.V. at all so the fact that he stays glued to them is kinda odd but funny.

Braden got his first pet. Momo and Popo got him a goldfish. Braden named him Flounder. He is very excited about it and it stay at their house so he can be with him all day.

Pumpkin

We got Braden his first pumpkin to carve on Sunday, at first he thought he was superman and could pick the thing up and bounce it like a ball. Well of course that did not work. So after playing with it for a while we got the stuff out and got him all carved up. Braden thought that the inside was to slimy so he flung it places, but I think that Steve and I got it all cleaned up. We took a few pictures to share. I think most you might have seen them if you are on my email list. So enjoy them either way.
Braden is going to be a pirate for Halloween. We have some pictures of that but not any that are really good. So maybe we will get some good ones on Wednesday, so check back for those.
Thanks for checking in on us.

Gall Bladder anyone?

first things first....Braden: Oh my gosh he is so big. He is talking like you would not believe. He is loving being with mom everyday and i think it helps her too. He is just a well rounded kid and what is not to love about him look who his mother is.
Now:
Gall Bladder, how often do you really think about that. You think about your kidneys, your liver, your heart and other things so often, but your gall bladder? I mean really come on. Well that seems to be that talk around the people in my circle. Sunday Oct. 14 I went to the ER late that evening with pains unlike anything i have ever felt. Steve and I took Braden to Connie and Chris's house and we spent most of the early hours on Monday in the ER room waiting to hear what the problem was. Come to find out i had a bad infection on my gall bladder and had at the time what looked like one HUGE stone. "Are you kidding me" I said. I have had some pain there for a few months now but never thought it was that. Because of the infection they kept me in the hospital until after the surgery. Mid morning Tuesday they wheel me in, knock me out, took it out and DONE, gall bladder out. Come to find out it was 4 stone all the same color, size and shape everything. Weird huh? Late Tuesday the 16 they let me go home. I can not lift anything over 10 pounds till the 31st, so Braden is not liking that much. But i am back at work this week and so far so good. I do get tired and I do have pains from time to time but I am pushing along.
Thanks to everyone who was there for family and me during that time. We could not have done without your help. My family is so awesome with out me having to think about anything at all they had Braden all taken care of and knew what to do. Just jumped right in and too care of everything so i did not have to worry. Love those people they are truly the best!!!!!! Kim you are a lifesaver you have no idea.

The Pumpkin Patch

We took Braden to a Pumpkin patch this weekend and he had a great time. He did not care much for the pumpkins he liked the animals the best. It was a nice 90 degree day in October, so we were all very hot.
Here are a few pictures of that day.

Another Note

Please send thoughts and prayers out for Braden's Grandbob, Steve's dad. he is going into surgery on Thursday. We are very sure that all will be good and that we will pass through this.
This week has had many events take place. A very good nice sweet couple that we know is going through a tough time right now, please know that we are thinking and praying for you. You are in our hearts and we carry you with us.

Having said that please know how special you are to people and how much you mean to people. Your support can do wonders for people who are in need. Make sure you tell your kids you love them and that you family knows it as well. Sometimes we pass through and never think about that. I hope that this is not to sad for you all. Thank you for all your support and hope that we in some ways have shown that to you all. we consider you all friends and family and love you all very much.

Braden

Over the wedding weekend which was a great weekend, Braden stayed with Kim so that we could get stuff ready. Kim had McKenzie over with her so Braden had lots of fun. Here are a few pictures of that day.
He looks like he was up to something!
CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!!

Star Wars

On Saturday Kim, Spencer and I headed to Ft. Worth to the Star Wars exhibit and if you know me at all you know how much I love Star Wars. We had the best time. Kim well lets say she probably could have picked a million other places to be. She was a trooper and hung in there with Spencer and Me. You can tell by some of the pictures that i was very excited and getting into the mood of the movie. Everything in the pictures were what they used in movies. Actual size, color, shape, everything it really was a lot of fun. Enjoy the pictures!

Who can resist Chewy?

Tall, dark and handsome, gets no better then that.

Ok so trying to make fun of C3PO was not the best picture of me but still very funny!

The real Yoda puppet. How cool !!

Yes, I know my mom would be so proud. But come on who could resist.

Strike a Pose! Even Star Wars had Divas.

I always wanted to be a Storm trooper, guess this is it for me.
In the movies they look big BUT WOW they are huge in person.
Spencer and me, notice the Longhorn connection.

The story of a micro preemie who is beating the odds.
