SLEEP

So you know being a new parent you hear people say "oh when they reach a certain age they will just start sleeping through the night." To a sleepy mom and dad that is the best news ever. Braden for the most part has been doing that for a long time BUT no one told us about nightmares, growing pains or just waking up from a dead sleep crying his eyes OUT. We do not have them all the time but we do have them. We work through them but when he does that 3:30 and Steve gets up at 4:30 and i get up at 5:30 makes for a long day!!! But hey we are alive and some what awake.

Things are good we are gearing up for Walk America on the 21st. You still have to walk or donate. Last day for donations is in May so plenty of time for that. And if you want to walk with us just show up at White Rock Lake in Dallas. April 21st at 9:00 a.m. It is a good time and we have so much fun. We do run into some folks who do not understand the purpose of our walk and that makes me mad. We kinda just walk right pass them and think they do not know my Braden or they would think otherwise. So to each their own right?

Susan our friend in Austin is due any day now and no baby name yet. Jenn has call her out on it and we are waiting for a name. I am with Jenn if she does not come up with a name we are going to call him Bubba forever. I just might do that anyway!! Love ya Susan!!!

We are doing great just going with flow. we did not get any good Easter pictures, SORRY!!! But we had a great time. We all over ate. We laughed so hard and played so hard that i think that we were all sore the next day even thought no one wanted to admit it.

Well i better go for now. But check back soon i promise to get more pictures this weekend and during the week of Braden.
Thanks for checking in on us.

Update

Sorry it has taken us so long to post but we have been so busy. Braden had all his checks in March and good news all the way around. His CT-Scan the one we were really worried about came back perfect. We did have some issues getting him to stay still for the test. They did have to give him something that made him "DRUNK" kinda but we got the pictures we needed. So we will go back in a year. Braden went to the eye Dr. and we will have to get some new lens but nothing big there. So we are doing good and we are on track. THANK GOD! We pray so hard for Braden to just catch a break when he can and so far so good.

We are gearing up for Walk America. We sent out letters out to raise money and to get walkers. If you live near Dallas and want to walk on Braden's Team email me or post a comment and i will get back to you. We have about 23 walkers now and would love to have more. If you want to donate get with me and i will give you Braden's Team number.

Easter weekend is coming up and we are ready. Braden was still to small last year to enjoy it but this year it will be lots of fun. All our family is coming over and we will be sure to post those pictures for you.

Words! The words that Braden comes up with. He loves to say Pizza and if you are around him he will say like 3 or 4 times in a row. Get this he is starting to sing his ABC's!!! Yes some of the letters he says them clearly but he hums it perfect. He even says the "now I know my ABC's" it is so cute. He is counting to 5 and using a spoon and fork like an old pro.

My mom, Braden's MoMo, is retiring in May and she will start to keep Braden on May 29th. She will have Jackson and Jonathan as well during the summer. So that will be alot of fun for them. We are so happy to have mom have this chance with them. It will be so good for the boys to have this time to remember with her. We are sad on the other hand to take Braden from the people who have cared for him since Aug. 2005!! We will miss them and hope that they will still keep in touch with Braden and us.

We are sending get well wishes to Gran in Memphis!!! Hugs and Kisses from Texas!!!

Thanks for checking in and remember March of Dimes Walk America, walk donate or spread the word anything helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
