The Holidays REALLY!!

Yes they are here! Time for turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, candy canes, fruit cakes, gingerbread cookies, egg nog, light, Santa and TRAFFIC!! I have never seen as much traffic on 380 as I so during the holiday season. So people if you live in the area cut up the tollway or go through Frisco let me get home at a reasonable time.

We are heading to Memphis Tennessee for Thanksgiving. We are looking forward to a nice time with family and friends. I am hoping to take Braden to see that Santa again at the mall there because it was not crowded at all when we went last time. I hear that Braden wrote his letter and is asking for a guitar, piano, and a flashlight. Lets hope Santa gets letter. We will be home for Christmas spending time with our family and friends here in Texas.

We will post and update when we have a free moment during the next few months. We wish you all a great Holiday Season!!!

Trick or Treat!!!

Friday night was a great night. The weather was good and our streets was full of witches, princess, fairies, hot dogs, and a BAT! Braden was going to go as Bob the Builder but it was to big this year. I did not want to get it fix because it is to cute the way it is. So maybe next year. Steve and Braden went out on the streets with Tyler, Oliver and parents Tasha and Jason. They cam back with a bucket full just one Brookridge. Braden was not done he wanted to go do some more. He had a great time and then when he was done he stayed at the house with me and helped me pass out candy. Our group of friends on street cam by with the kids and I must say we do have some of the cutest kids ever living on Brookridge. Braden slept good that night and we had to get ready for the next day. We had a neighborhood party/birthday party that started at 5 and then Clara's 5th year anniversary Halloween party at 7. Talk about a bust day.. We had a great time at Tyler's birthday and all the kids got along really well. We finally got to meet some the people we hear them talk about and that was really nice. Clara's party of course was family fun. We had everything from Dr.'s to witches, to Star Wars all in one house. The food was great the laughs were even better. We headed home and were in bed by 10:30 we were all 3 out!!!
We had a nice long weekend and everyone was safe and had a good time. Now we get ready to enter November. We will be heading to Memphis at the end of the month and we have a few family birthdays this month as well. We are looking forward to spending time with family and friends as we start the holiday season for 2008!!

Here are some pictures of the Bat that lives on Brookridge:

Weekend

Lets see how do we want to start this post....there is so much to say!! Friday when I got to Mom and Dad's to get Braden there was so much going on that some how my keys got locked in the car. I have a spare but it was locked in the car too. I know not smart!! Well I get the phone and I call Chase, my neighbor who is a mechanic to see if he knew anyway that I can get in the car. Well at this time I see that my lights are on and my radio is going full blast. Chase did not answer the first time so I am calling everyone I know to see if they can get me in my car. I get Chase on the phone and he says "where are you?" I tell him I am in Denton and he said "tell me where I will come and get you in the car." At this point I am telling him NO stay home I can pay a locksmith do not come all the way here. I gave the phone to his fiance (FeFe) to get directions. Sure enough they came to Denton. Chase got my car open and jumped my battery and I was off to McKinney. I love my neighbors!!! THEY ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Once I was home I had sushi dinner with Carrie and had a great time. We talked and relaxed and just had a good time. Jay showed about about a quarter to 10:00 and I left them alone and I went home.

Saturday morning was Braden's last game. He had a good time and the weather was perfect. He got a trophy and we discussed the end of year party for kids that will be this Wednesday. Braden was not the best at blast ball it was to slow paced for him so I think we will try something else in the spring. After the game we had a little end of year family party at the house of Havis. After that Braden and I went home for some down time and a bath. Steve got home a little before 6 and we headed to Denton to see my Aunt and Cousin who were in town for the weekend. What a great time we had talking and laughing and eating. It is not often that we get to see them so it was a really treat. Braden of course showed off and did hid cutest acts to impress them. We head home and we were all fast a sleep by 10:30.

Sunday we got up and had a nice breakfast and then headed to the pumpkin patch. Braden had such a good time he feed the animals, rode the train and took a hay ride. We took some food and had a nice lunch out there and just spent some time just the 3 of us. I will attache some pictures at the end of the blog. We were home in time to get the Cowboys game on. Mom and Dad came up for dinner and we had a great time. Of course the Cowboys lost but oh well there is next Sunday. My neighbors were all out so Braden and I went to say good night to everyone and then in for bath a few minutes on a movie and then off to bed.

So it was a great weekend and I think that one of the key factors was that:

UT BEAT OU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So with that I will leave you with some pictures:

Long time

Ok I am now putting myself on the "Oh my gosh can you please give us an update" list. I hear people say it all the time and I am starting to get bad. So here is what we have been up to.

Braden has been playing blast ball every Saturday. That takes up most of our Saturday morning. In the afternoon we hang out in Denton for while eat some lunch and then head back home. Once we are home we get settled in and then get ready for the Brookridge Saturday night. Sundays are nothing but FOOTBALL!!! All day long. So I have been planning things for me to do so that I can get out of the house and not watch it as much.

This past Sunday Clara and I had lunch with our friends from Round Rock. Susan, Chris, Ryan, and baby Lucy not out of Susan's tummy yet. Owen was at the fair with his grandparents. What a great talk we had. Ryan is so cute and just loved every second with him, i hate that i am not closer to them........And how excited are we for baby Lucy. After lunch Clara, Susan and I walked the West Village had the best Italian ice cream ever!!!! Not to mention the best people watching ever. IF you live in the Dallas ares you MUST go to West Village and eat and walk and shop and WATCH!!!

My Aunt and Cousin are coming in this weekend so we are getting ready for them. We are making the fall plans, Boo Zoo, pumpkin patch and ton of other things. Halloween is on a Friday this year so I am sure we will be doing something fun.
Check back for pictures, I promise I will get some on here soon.

Blast Ball Game 2

Much improvment from the first game. He went up to hit the ball and ran to the base. He did not turn around to clap for himself. When it was there turn to catch the ball he did not want to go out there. But after much pushing by MoMo and Me we got him to go out. He went just enough to throw a few handfuls of dirt then it started to rain. So me being the worried mom that I am I said " Braden lets go!" So he did well but did not want him getting sick. He was able to take his team and individual pictures and wait till you see how cute they are. BUT remember we are talking about nine three year old boys and girls trying to get all to look the same way with over 15 adults calling them all to look other directions. Braden has another game on Wednesday we play the Aggies GO LONGHORNS!!!!!!!!!!!

Ike hit Texas and he hit it good. My brothers and there family are safe and we hope that they can return home soon and try to get back on track. The kids love it they are out of school but it is hard to be away from home.

Hope you all are well where ever you may be and thanks for checking in on us. I will be sure to post more pictures as I get them.

Back to School

It is that time of year again, it is BACK TO SCHOOL!!! All my nieces and nephews started today. I sent them all good morning text pages wishing them a great start to a new school year. My nephews Jackson and Jonathan have started a school at what is like a charter school. We are very happy with this new place and can not wait to see how the year goes. Now on to my nieces all 6 of them!!! Michelle, Elizabeth and Crissy started today near the Beaumont area, Carrie started in Hereford, Madi and Gabby started in the Galveston area. We span pretty big these days. I hope they all have a great year and do the best that they possibly can.

All the kids in our neighborhood started today and it is going to be a great year. We have a first timer who is going to K-5 and we have some starting there first year of high school. So I am sure we will have some great stories this school year.

Braden is now alone with MoMo. The boys will not come over for lunch, PoPo is not coming home early or having a day off every week, SUMMER is officially over for us. It was a good summer with a lot of times had by us all.

So hope your kids all have a great school year and wishing all you parents the patients you will need to make through another school year!!!

Just an update

I know it has been a while since I have updated but we have been really busy. Lets start with Braden and his music class. He has been taking classes at UNT College of Music for toddlers and he LOVES IT! I am so lucky to be able to go with him every Saturday for the past month and see him advance more and more every time we go. They gave us a CD that we listen to in the car so he pretty much has every song memorised. This coming Saturday is the last class and he will graduate from it that day. I will be sure to take some pictures.

The 4th of July was a blast. We went to Memphis to visit Grandbob and Gramy and all the rest of our family. Braden and Steve were in the parade of kids, adults, dogs, strollers, jeeps, trailers you name it, they were all decorated and everyone had a great time. After the parade the local fire station has a truck out there and they open the hoses and everyone gets WET!! Braden and Steve came back soaking wet from head to toe. We had a great lunch followed by some swimming at Aunt Candy's house. Braden loves the water and seems to be getting the whole swimming thing down. We went over to Libby and Philip's for some good old Memphis BBQ!! Philip had a variety of goodies for us to eat and what a cook he is. We all ate got the kids fed and after we did that it was about time to start some fireworks. Now here in Texas we can not do them in our street right in front of our house. Well in Memphis we did just that. We sat on the lawn and sidewalk and the guys put on a pretty good show for all of us. Some of the kids got a little scared but not Braden he could not have been happier. He was sitting with Steve on grass and just watched the show. That moment i looked over at them and i just felt so good to see them like that i think that was a better show then the fireworks. Then it was off to bed. Braden got to go to the farm and had a great time on the tractors and the jeep and everything else little boys can get into on the farm. Amy and I went SHOPPING!!! There are some great stores in Memphis that i must go to every time i am there or i feel empty!

Once we were home is was back to the swing of things for us. Work, cleaning house, laundry, chasing Braden and everything else. We were glad to be home but miss everyone in Memphis so much. We are hoping to go back in November. That weekend we got back we had a birthday for one of our neighbors and had a great time. I think that i have the best neighborhood ever. we are like our own little family. If you live by me i can not wait for you meet them.
Braden will be playing Blastball this fall. It is the pre step of T-ball. They play with a soft ball and bat. they run to first base only and they have to honk a horn when they reach it BUT before a player gets the ball and yells "BLAST". There is not score or stats being taking just some good fun for them. It is co-ed teams of 3 and 4 year old kids. His friend Cutter is going to play and we have asked that they be on the same team, i have also asked to make sure that they get a good team name. His practice starts the week of Aug. 18 and his first game is Saturday Sept. 6. I will post his schedule as soon as i get it so if you are around you can join us.

I will get some pictures up soon of all this great stuff. Thanks for checking in on us.

Happy Birthday!!

That's right today is my 30th birthday! I was very nervous about turning 30 but after a few months of worrying about it I just gave up. I woke up this morning and I felt no different. I felt the same as I did yesterday. I did not fall to piece at the words "Happy 30th Birthday Annie!" Instead I smiled and said thank you. Turning 30 just marks another great year of my life story. May not be so interesting to some but to me it is the best story ever. I mean I have THE BEST family ever, I have GREAT friends, a wonderful husband and a child that God create just for me. I mean what more could I ask for. I am so blessed to have experience this day and I pray to have many more. We are all so lucky to be where we are no matter the number that we are at. Being a member of the 30 club is not so bad. I join some pretty awesome people in that club. So bring it on the next 30 years I am ready for it. I love my life and would not change a thing.
My birthday party Saturday was so much fun. We had so much food and was to much fun. I think that everyone had a great time and had plenty to eat and good company. My neighbors are the best and truly helped me make it a good time. My family is so special they made sure that every detail was done. Then my friends who came to share the day with me brought me some sweets to share and I really did not want to but I had too. So thanks to everyone who came out and helped make that day even better.
Now for today I get to work and what is the first thing I see? My baby picture hanging in the window on the second floor as big as big can be. Then all the way up the staircase that we all use there were pictures of me as a baby up to the office door. My desk covered in confetti, Jolly Ranchers and Blow Pops!!!! YUMMY!!! I got balloons and another BIG picture of me as a baby hanging from the main stairway up to the main office so that everyone could see it. I am so glad that they used cute pictures. My friend Kim made me some homemade cupcakes and oh my gosh they were so good.
I think tonight for dinner Steve, Braden and I will be going out to dinner and then calling it a day. But all in all my 30th was a good day and something i will never forget. So thanks to everyone who helped make my day good with gifts, food, emails, cards and hugs. You all make me feel so loved.
Thanks again.

SUMMER TIME

The weather here in Texas is making a believer out of us that summer time is here. The air conditioner at our house is on full blast!! Braden is having a great time already. Jackson and Jonathan are staying with him and MoMo this summer and he can not be happier. Everyday he tells me what they did and how much they are having. Those memories are going to be priceless. My nieces moved this past weekend. It was sad to see them go but they are not gone for good. We are going to be able to see them and call them when ever we want and that is going to be great.

Steve, Braden and I are heading to Memphis for the 4th of July weekend. It should be a great time. Braden is going to be in the parade that is going to be held in that area of town where all the family lives. We are so excited and I have all new outfits for Braden to wear and he is going to look so cute. We will have a ton of pictures from that event I can promise you that.

June 11th is PoPo's birthday !!!! We are going to have a family dinner for him that night. Then fathers day is on Sunday and we are going to have a late lunch with everyone in Denton. Saturday we are having a get together for my 30 birthday!!!!! Just a few friends and family doing what we do best EATING!!!!! My real birthday is the 17th and I can honestly say bring it on. The past few months I have been really emotional about this birthday but not anymore. I read this book called "90 minutes in Heaven" and let me tell you it was GREAT!!!!!! Everyone should read this book. It gave me a whole new out look on this birthday deal. I am ready for it and I am happy in my life. I have a great husband a AWESOME kid!!! Great family and friends what more could I ask for. The author of that book is going to be in Denton in September and I will be going to hear him speak.
So that is where the Bunger family of McKinney stands as of today. I hope that you all are well and that all you dad's have a great day on Sunday!!!!

Here are a few pictures that we took a few backs:

What a weekend!!!!

Can I get an Amen for the 3 day weekend!!!! Well Steve had to work from Wednesday till Monday 12 hour days!! So he did not get to have much fun as Braden and I did. Friday we had my nieces over for the night and had the neighbors kids over and played dodge ball in the back yard. We had so much fun and let me tell you dodge ball is alot harder now then it was when I was 8. Saturday we got up and headed to Denton I spent some time there and then it was off to White Bluff to spend some time with Kim and her family. We got to White Bluff around noon and headed to the pool. Braden had so much fun he loves the water. Craig made us catfish for dinner and we all ate like pigs. It was so good. Sunday we got up and took Braden to the park before it got to hot. After that we packed up the car and headed to Denton for a big family BBQ!

My brother JJ and his family were in town from Galveston, and my other brother Leroy, his girlfriend and her daughter came in. So we were all together it was so much fun. We had tons of food and drinks and music. Right before we ate Leroy wanted to tell us all the he and girls are moving to Beaumont in June 8th and that he and Crystal are GETTING MARRIED!!!!!! The date is set for December 27th. We are all very excited and happy to have her and her 2 girls in our family. More details on that as it comes around.

Monday Braden and i stayed HOME! We relaxed and did laundry. Braden had a good time just being at home. So a great weekend all the way around. Now on to getting ready for the next month of events. June is a busy month for us. we have My dads birthday, My birthday, fathers day and Havis wedding birthday!

Hope you all had a safe and fun weekend.

The day at the farm

Sunday we went to DeKalb Texas. That's right I went to the farm. Steve's Aunt and Uncle live out there and his cousin Jana and Shane, and there families, live out there too. They all live on these acres and acres of land. Braden had a blast he got ride a horse! The first time ever. He got to ride a chuck wagon all over the land and could not get enough. Mike had to take him at least 5 times. Thanks Mike. We got to see the baby his name is Kaden, and is tiny but so cute. Hard to believe that Braden was ever that small. Bob and Amy came was well and we had a great time. We ate everything you can think of including HOME MADE ICE CREAM!!!!! YUMMMMMMMMMM!!!!

Here are a few pictures from the day:

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Ok so I am a day late, but did not have time to post yesterday. The started out with a drive to Sherman, to see Steve's Mom. We had a great lunch out and Braden was some what in a good mood. After lunch we headed back to her house to meet up with Stephanie and her crew. We got to the baby and she is so cute. Has RED hair that is to die for and blue eyes!!!

We left there and headed to Denton, we stopped by some friends of mine on our way to MoMo house. When we got there, we had ice cream and the kids played hard in the back yard!!! It was a great time.

I think sometimes I need to be reminded how lucky I am, and what better way then being at home and listening to your husband and your son listening and singing to "Double Dutch Bus!" I left the love let me tell you.
I hope that all of you Mom's out there had a great day and that you were minded that day of how loved you are and how needed you are.

Long time

I know it has been a while since my last post. Quick update: Braden is doing great. We went to Hereford to see my Grandparents and other family. They are doing great. My Grandfather seems to be OK but you can tell that he is very tired and not to his normal self. It was very mind settling for me to go and spend some time with him. Braden of course put on the charm for them all and my cousin's little girl sure threw it right back at him.

We took family pictures on Sunday!! I know some of you are saying finally. As soon as I get them I will out some in the website. We went to this great park in Denton and got some really great shots. Kim and Spencer came out and took a few with Spencer in his Prom tux. For those of you who know Spencer he went to prom on Saturday night and had a blast. So we got a few shots of him and Kim all dolled up!! Braden did well at the photo shot he had some moments but Cami, the lady who took the pictures, was great!!!! LOVE HER!!! She is great she knew how to work with him and what looked best. I suggest her to everyone who lives in the area.

A big big BIG happy birthday to Miss Audrey & My sweet baby boy Ryan!!!!!!!! We love you both very much.

Check back soon for the pictures.

Pictures

I went to the movies with my girlfriend GiGi on Sunday and had a great time. I laughed so hard that i cried it was a good time and i need to do that more often. The flip side of that was that Braden was home with Steve ALONE!! I know that they had a good time because Braden was in a good mood and Steve looked tired! Here are few pictures of the afternoon and the new hair cut.

Big Boy Bed

Well we did it. We are out of the crib and in a big boy bed. Braden is not sure what to think of it just yet but he is adjusting. We will put him to bed but then he will wake up between 2-3 in the morning and want to come with us. I think that he is not sure of his new surroundings. But it brings so much more space to his room. His room is stuffed to max with toys, clothes, shoes and everything else so this new change adds a little more space. I am going to work on getting him some curtains( well my friend Kim is going to make them), and a table cover for his night stand. Then his room will look more like a little boy and not so much a baby.
Easter was a fun. It was kinda cold here but we had a good time. Once again we had lots of food and lots of FUN!!! The kids had a great time and I have to give credit to MoMo and PoPo for being the only adults outside when the kids were cracking eggs on eachother.

One more Year!!!

We took Braden for his annual CT-Scan yesterday at Children's in Dallas. Well we had to be there at 7:00 a.m. and they were going to have to sedate him. SOOOOO guess what we had a very upset 3 year old. He was not happy at all and that made his Dad very happy. I was trying to stay calm, one of us had to be! Well finally around 10:00 we got Braden sedated and in the scan room. The test took all of 3 minutes but the 4 hours before seemed like 24 hours. After that we had to return to the sedation room to let him wake up, he got a toy and we were out the door. We headed down stairs to the fine eating place at Children's and got him something to eat and drink.. Since he had nothing since the night before.

We had an appointment to his Dr. at noon but we got there early and we got to see him around 11:00. He was very happy with Braden said the Shunt looks great and Scan was perfect. He told us "see you next year" and Braden got another toy. So a bannana, juice, jello a race car, 2 bouncy balls and some other toy we were out of Children's with great news and tired baby!

How exciting it was to hear that again. Lets just hope for great news like that all the time.

I would like for everyone who reads this to please say a small little pray for my Grandpa in Hereford. He is not doing very well and we are praying for a speedy recovery.

Thanks
