Thanksgiving was great. We had the best time with everyone. Kate, Henry and Olivia were the smaller of the group and they all got along so great and Braden loved having playmate for the whole week. We had more time to talk with family this year, Aunt Candy and Aunt Taylor are so much fun to talk to I think I could spend the whole day with just them. Of course Gran is the highlight of the trip. She has us all over for dinner on Friday after Thanksgiving and to see her and Aunt Hope just watch us all gives me great joy. Phil got his guitar out and played for us and the kids put on some dance moves that would make anyone look bad. But the main and most important thing is Gramy and Grandbob they always make us feel right at home and with no worries. They know how to throw a great party and show us much love that makes it hard to come home.
We did miss our family in Texas. My mom made her wonderful turkey and dressing. The kids put on a show for them and there was much shopping going on by Aunt Connie and Aunt Clara. Dad i am sure went to bed in his chair with his tummy full of good food. While the boys all watch a good Cowboy game.
While we were in Memphis, Steve, Braden and I got away for a few hours to go to the mall. We were walking around and saw that Santa had no line. I looked at Steve and said "let's give it a shot". Well at first Braden was not sure what to think of him. He kinda looked at him with this puzzled look of why are you wearing PJ's. Then I said " Braden tell Santa what you want for Christmas" and on Que my child said "a tractor". I put Braden on Santa's lap and we got a one good scream and then Santa said the magic words "I HAVE CANDY" Braden smiled the lady took the picture and off we went. It does not get any better then that. Seeing how this was his first visit with Santa I think that we did pretty good.
Here is a picture of the visit we hope that you check back with us we are sure to have more photo's up soon.
