HAPPY 4th of JULY

Just a quick note to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July. Braden's transition to being home has went pretty well so far. After four months of the hospital and limited touch, he is eating up this being held business. He seems to never be happy unless being held, patted, or rocked. No problem for us, we love it too. Braden is only sleeping in 2 to 3 hour intervals (if we're lucky). He has been eating well and just growing. Today he has been a little fussy due to congestion, but we were prescribed some medication and already he is doing better. He has a doctor's appointement with his lung specialist tomorrow on the 5th, so hopefully that will go well. Braden has had a lot of visitors, mostly family. It takes a group effort to take care of his special needs - mostly just being held, but we are all too happy to oblige. Braden's grandparents from Memphis, TN, Gramy & Grandbob came up over the last few days to visit and we all had a really good time. They helped watch Braden so we could get things accomplished around the house. Of course Aunt Clara has already put in quite a bit of time babysitting as well as his Momo and Popo and his other Aunts & Uncles - JJ, Leroy, Connie, Chris, and cousins Jackson & Jonathan. We definately don't have to worry about finding a sitter in this family. So far, everything is going as well as can be expected. We will be posting some new pictures of the family - mostly Braden - in his new environment very soon, so please check back.

Hope to see you all at the shower!!!

Steve, Annie, & Braden
