Braden has had some trouble over the last couple of days. His feedings have been irregular as well as his bowel movements. The doctors are not exactly sure why he's now having trouble eating. He does take a long time to eat and it's starting to cause minor breathing problems. They're not sure if he's just tired and not in a mood to eat or if there is another problem causing this. To be sure, they are performing and echo on his heart to see if it is under any stress from trying to eat.
An echo is a test in which an ultrasound is used to examine the heart. We have always known that Braden has a small heart murmur. So we are praying that his little heart is not having problems. The echo is today and as soon as we have any information, we will post it here.
