Wonderful News

Yippee! We have some good news to report today! Braden was taken off the oscillating ventilator!! The settings were so low that he was practically breathing on his own. He is now on the regular ventilator and that means that his little lungs are healing. They are giving him caffeine to stimulate his brain because hopefully they will be removing him from ALL vents very soon!! Also, he is weighing in at a whopping 2 pounds 9 ounces and is still loving that formula. He's definitely an eater and enjoys a full, warm tummy. (Don't we all?)

This good news could mean that Annie and Steve might get to hold Braden again. Annie has held him only once -for about an hour. Steve has held him only once -for about 2 hours. We are excited to think that maybe they can hold him again. This wonderful news came at a great time. Annie and Steve will be celebrating their 1-year wedding anniversary on April 10. Hopefully they can celebrate a year of marriage by getting to hold their baby for the second time!

Thank you so much for all your prayers...they are working! Praise Jesus!
